I recently stayed at Clarion Inn Hotel 5 nights in [February & march 2026 there for work trip. Overall, it was a very positive experience, primarily due to the outstanding service and prime location. While the rooms are cozy and clean -what did I like most was : The Location: You cannot beat this spot. It is right in the heart of [RIDGECREST CA], within walking distance of the Military base and museum , grocery store across the street as well as a known shopping center. The Staff & Service: Every staff member I interacted with, from the front desk to housekeeping, was exceptionally friendly and professional. Special thanks to the men working at the front desk for going above and beyond. Cleanliness & Comfort: The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was kept spotless by the cleaning staff daily. Amenities: The pool/gym/complimentary breakfast] was a huge bonus and felt very high quality. And was a perfect bonus , the breakfast is in a actual restaurant with tables and booth seating. What I Didn’t Like: Noise Levels: The soundproofing could be improved. I could hear conversationsin the next door room when im in the room with a door that can go right into there room. The other guests will start opening the door to see if ours will open and you can literally hear them talking as if they were right in front of you and even when they sleep you can hear snoring. Was the only thing I just did not like at all.

I have lived in ridgecrest for many years and attended events at the Clairon. Always thought it was a great hotel until I came back to Ridgecrest after moving away and stayed there. I was excited to stay there since I thought was a great place. But I was disappointed to discover the room had some kind of bug in the beds (not bed bugs but still bugs). The bed was sunken in the middle and the bathroom did not have any kind of grab bar. Next time I come back to Ridgecrest I will not be staying at the Clarion

My stay the hotel was very pleasant. I came into town not having the greatest idea of where was, but the front desk kid gave a good idea of where to get lunch and where the museums were in town. The town is quite small but easy to get lost in. The rooms were very clean, clean bathrooms, but the AC was very cold and made the bed uncomfortable at night. The pool seemed nice but I don't like to swim :(

I wish I took pictures. So hopefully this review will help you. We really loved this hotel. The room was big, very very clean, the king size bed was very soft. Like pillow top soft. Plenty of pillows, we had a fridge, microwave, coffee pot with the stuff to make coffee, double door locks, great jacuzzi! nice and hot and the bubbles work. This jacuzzi only has bubbles not high speed jets, but it was nice. the pool was nice too. The towels are huge and fluffy. Nice. They have an awesome continental breakfast in a really nice restaurant style eating area. Separate from all this they have a really nice actual restaurant, that caters to your needs, like we wanted to see Supercross racing and they went above and beyond to make sure we got to watch supercross. Food was good, service was good too. This place is give a 5 star.

Very nice staff at front desk. When we checked in last night the clerk was very friendly and shared about the town and its features. This morning, I showed Alex a pic of the floor tile that was loose at the writing desk in room 105, but he said that the maintenance is a "1-man show" and it most likely would not get repaired due to budget cuts by general manager. Well, by the looks of the peeling paint and weeds everywhere, it's obvious that the owners are not prioritizing simple maintenance. This is unfortunate, since the place will continue to decline and lose reviews. It looks like it used to be a nice facility, but the beds are now compressed, the door seals allow light and sound in, and the walls are super thin. We had to turn on our TV, in order to drown out the neighbor's TV. Other than that, we enjoyed the belgian waffle and sausages with scrambled eggs breakfast ( probably was an instant eggs mix that was slightly too runny). We would have tried the hot tub last night, but there were a few men in it blasting music and drinking a whole case of Firestone beer. Overall, I would say that this place is catering to the construction crews who just need a few basics, when staying overnight for projects in Ridgecrest. Edit: After arriving home, I realized that I left my laptop bag in my room. So, the manager Nick shipped it to me via UPS, after I emailed my shipping label to him. I am very appreciative of their care and attention to my situation. I want to thank the housekeeping for their integrity and dedication to serving customer needs. Also, David, the front desk clerk, called me multiple times to make sure that the situation was being handled. Hopefully, the owners will provide a better budget for doing repairs, since the staff here really work hard to make it a nice place!

My Go-To Spot in Ridgecrest I stay at the Clarion Inn every week for work, and it’s always solid. You really get exactly what you pay for — clean rooms, good value, restaurant/ Bar, and great hospitality. Nick at the front desk always takes care of me when I check in on Mondays, and the complimentary breakfast every morning is a huge plus. Especially with a new hotels across the street, I just don’t feel that paying over $200 for a simple room — even with breakfast — is worth the value. The Clarion gives me everything I need at a fair price, and that reliability keeps me coming back week after week.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Clarion Inn in Ridgecrest. Staff I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Felt taken care of, and that made a big difference. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The location is convenient if you're passing through town to LA. That said, the on-site restaurant, Charlie's, was a bit of a letdown. Slow service and kind of gross. I’d gladly stay at the Clarion Inn again coming from 395.
